Kids in the Park

The Children's' Play area at the Spina Bifida Centre at Craighalbert is open during July every day.

On Tuesdays the Friends of the Cumbernauld Community Park have arranged for North Lanarkshire Council's Outdoor Play group to attend with their own brand of games, face painting and other attractions. Make a date in your diary for 6, 13, 20 and 27th and don't forget to bring the kids!

Friends of CACE Annual Sponsored Walk

Everyone is welcome to this annual event - last year there were adults, teenagers, families, babies in buggies, wheelchair users, and a couple of family pet dogs. The walk is approximately 1:30 to 3pm.

On completion there will be transport available for all to be taken to the Legion for a well earned cup of tea!

Monthly Speaker Meetings at the GLO Centre

10 meetings held a year (every month except July/August) featuring speakers holding forth on lots of areas of local history.

Meetings are held at 7pm on the second Thursday of each month, and are organised for the Family History Society. Visitors are very welcome and admission is free.
